Employment Opportunities

The Frederic School District is actively seeking a part-time (potentially full-time for the right candidate), student centered, regular education Academic Interventionist, to begin as soon as possible. Candidates must be passionate about supporting student academic achievement. This teacher will work with individual students and small groups to close achievement gaps and help students become proficient in English/Language Arts and Math.
 
Successful candidates will possess the following:
-Desire and ability to create learning opportunities aligned to learning standards.
-Understanding of student achievement data.
-Desire and ability to work in a Professional Learning Community Environment.
-Strong communication skills with students, staff, and families.
-Passion for learning, growing, and exploring.
 
Qualifications: Middle School level certification is desired, but non-certified applicants are welcome to apply. The District is prepared to assist a quality candidate in attaining a pathway to licensure. Additional teaching licenses and experiences are considered assets to applicants. Additional certification(s) desired but not required: Reading Specialist and Reading Teacher.
 
Co-curricular, coaching, and student organization leadership opportunities are available.

Description:
The Frederic School District is looking to hire 2 Assistant Teachers for their Roots and Branches Community Early Learning Center.
Qualifications;
* Must Pass a criminal Background check.
* Must have a positive demeanor, be happy, and enjoy working with children.
* Must have a HS Diploma or equivalent.
* Must be able to lift, carry and move a minimum of 50 pounds.
* Must demonstrate basic computer skills.
* Must attend training sessions as needed for the position.
* Must have or be able to obtain Shaken Baby Certification and CPR Certification.
* Must demonstrate the ability to work independently.
* Must exhibit interpersonal skills necessary to work with children and the public.
* Must maintain confidentiality of staff, students, and families.
* Must effectively supervise children using positive guidance techniques.
* Must work cooperatively in a team or with a work partner.
