The Buildings and Grounds Department of the Frederic School District is committed to providing the best environment possible for learning to take place. We are responsible for a wide range of facility services including the day-to-day operation and maintenance for 2 buildings. Our department has an outstanding staff that demonstrates a commitment to "better facilities equal better education."

Our goal is to provide a safe, clean, comfortable, functional and attractive environment for the community. We are trusted to ensure the taxpayer funds are used efficiently while providing a good return on each investment. Facility Use/Rental

The use of the school building for after-school activities will be allowed only when they are regularly scheduled events or when special arrangements have been made in the office by the sponsoring teacher.

Students will not be allowed in the school building after 4:30 p.m. unless chaperoned by the teachers in charge of an event. This includes Saturday and Sunday activities.

Students and teachers will be expected to vacate the school building by 10:00 p.m. The only exception to this time limit is when regular athletic events are scheduled, when students are involved in school dances, plays or concerts. In cases of emergency, which may require students to be in the building after 10:00 p.m., special arrangements are to be made with the school principal.
