Hello! With eight years experience as a classroom teacher, I am excited to begin my first year with Frederic School District as the PreK-12 Reading Specialist. Previously, I taught for Osceola School District and St. Anne's Catholic School in Somerset. I have had overlapping roles in reading intervention, English Language Arts in grades 5-12, Gifted & Talented, and instructional & literacy coaching. My most recent accomplishment in education is graduating with my master's degree in Educational Administration: Director of Instruction in May, 2021.
My husband, Shane, and I have two boys: Jacob is in 11th grade at Osceola High School, and Michael will be in his first year at college at UW-Stout and ROTC Air Force through St. Thomas. We live in Osceola and have two dogs that we enjoy taking for walks or hikes. We also value our family time camping, traveling, or being together in the quiet moments at home. Shane and I love spending time together in the outdoors or on a lake, whether it be fishing, kayaking, hiking, camping, or snowshoeing, as well as with our friends and family. I also enjoy running & yoga, reading a good book, and being part of my church community.
