4th Grade Classroom

Welcome to 4th grade! My name is Melinda Sorensen. I am in my 24th year of teaching in Frederic! I teach Grammar/Writing, Social Studies, Science, and Intervention to the 4th and 5th grades! I live in Balsam Lake with my husband, Jim.  He is retired, and we enjoy our summers fishing, camping, gardening, and being with our family. We have a son Colton, his wife Kelsey, and a granddaughter, Elle! Our daughter Raelin teaches 4K at Unity and our daughter Raegan is a student at UW-Stout. We have enjoyed many years of athletics with our kids including following each of them into their college sport's years.  Currently our daughter Raegan plays basketball for Stout.  You will find me many Wednesdays and Saturdays in the winter watching basketball somewhere!
