ABOUT PTO

We are an all-volunteer (non-profit) group that directly supports the students, families, and teachers of Frederic School District by providing additional educational and social opportunities with funds raised throughout the year. 

EXAMPLES OF EVENTS AND CONTRIBUTIONS

• Hosting free events for families such as Breakfast Buddies, Winter Family Fun Night, and STEM Night (These generally include a full meal prior to activities)
• Fundraising via raffles, school spirit items, and food sales at games and concerts
• Facilitating the Giving Tree or classroom donation efforts during the holidays
• Donating raised funds to the school to help cover Thematic Week or special Field trips
• Supporting and Thanking our teachers with Teacher Appreciation Week

JOIN OR CONTRIBUTE TO PTO

• Volunteer (Fill out the Volunteer Form and be available to work an occasional event)
• Participate in Fundraising or Donation efforts
• Attend Meetings and Help with Planning and Organizing
• Other Support – Spread the Word, Attend Events, Recruit more Volunteers

PTO can create a lot of positive contributions for our school without being an overwhelming time commitment. We only meet in person about 4-5 times a year, and the rest of communication is done primarily by e-mail. It is absolutely fine to be a Volunteer (or contribute ideas) without attending the planning meetings.  You just need to complete a Volunteer Form below and sign up with e-mail to receive PTO communications.

VOLUNTEER FORMS can be filled out and returned to the school office.
