My name is Kelly Hopkins and I have been teaching for over 25 years. I live in the north woods with my husband. Both of my sons, Logan and Lane graduated from Frederic and are pursuing their dreams. My husband is a taxidermist who works out of our home. My family enjoys hunting, fishing, reading and sports. My favorite sport to coach is hockey; there are only a few sports within the school system that I have not coached.
I have earned many degrees over the years, education is something no one can take from you. I have a Bachelor’s in English Education and an Art minor. I have a master’s degree in Administrative Education and a principal license. Along with my administrative degrees, I have my curriculum director license and 316 Reading license. I have always been a classroom teacher and am very passionate about how important it is to read well. I certainly cannot imagine what my life would be like without the ability to read.
