My name is Marcus Cornelius and I have taught for 14 years.  12 of those years were in Emporia, KS from 4th grade through middle school.  For the past two years I have loved teaching mathematics at Frederic High School.  It has been quite a privilege to work with these students and to see how much they have grown, so much potential here in Frederic!  I earned my bachelor's degree in education from Pittsburg State University and my master's degree in educational administration from Emporia State University, both in Kansas.  I am excited to use my administration degree as principal of the 6-12 school this year!  I hope to support staff and students in any way that I can, while encouraging growth and Frederic pride.  

Outside of school I love to run, travel, and spend time with my 3 children, Cassian, Aurelia, and Romilly, and my wife Ashleigh.  It is going to be an amazing school year in 2025-2026!  Go Vikings!
